Why Tallow?

Tallow is nature’s original skincare ingredient. It has been used for centuries in balms, soaps, and early cosmetics. Its fatty acid profile overlaps closely with human skin, making it well tolerated and effective for supporting a healthy barrier. Naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E and K, it delivers complete, bioavailable nourishment.

Ingredients You Recognise

Here's something most people don't know: the word "sebum," the oil your own skin produces, actually comes from the Latin word for tallow. Tallow shares key fatty acids with human sebum, which is a big part of why it's so well tolerated by the skin. It's also naturally shelf-stable without the need for chemical preservatives, keeping its nutrients intact. Unlike many plant oils, which can oxidise quickly due to their high polyunsaturated fat content, tallow remains robust and nourishing over time.

See the difference

"I used to be a skincare fanatic with a ten step routine full of harsh actives and the next big thing. My skin was constantly irritated. Then I discovered tallow skincare and my skin calmed down."
